Mini Boots Haul

image

Hi everyone

so …. I did some splurging and I thought would share , I was totally only meant to be buying one thing on boots.ie , but decided that I needed a little bit more haha , it is quite a small haul but it all amounted to around 60ish euro so I suppose in a way … its not really!

The first thing I picked up and what was my soul mission to get was the Benefit Triple Performing Moisturiser  THIS MOISTURISER! Wow! I got a little sample of this product about a month ago and had been using it every day and found myself not really reaching for my other moistursier, so I thought I needed to get the full sized botttle when my little sample one ran out. This product cost €33.50

The next thing I picked up was the NYX Matte Liquid Liner I was in dire need of a new liquid liner as my gel one was on its last legs and I wanted to revert back to liquid since the makeup course I will be doing only focuses on liquid and I thought I may aswell get as much practice in as possible before it starts and try to train myself back into the liquid liner ways haha! This product cost €7.75

I needed to get a new concealer so I just picked up my holy grail Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer again because it literally gives off a highend finish at a drugstore price point , this concealer is the only concealer that I have actually repurchased because it was that good and its also a beauty community favourite so you’d be a bit silly not to try it at least once! This product was the cheapest coming in at €5.79

The last product I bought was the L’oreal Lumi Magique Primer I’m on a huge primer binge these past few weeks , and I needed to try this out ever since I heard it was meant to be a cheaper alternative to Mac Strobe Cream , I think under foundation this will really give me that ” glow from within” look that I absolutely adore! this product was €14.99

So my grand total spending was 61.99 which … sorta makes me feel a little sick inside to think thats what I spent but I suppose I can talk myself around and justify the fact that I NEEDED these products haha .

Have any of your tried these products? what were your thoughts , I would love to hear them below in the comments

Mini Drugstore Haul

image (2)

Hi Everyone!

I can’t remember when my last haul was on my blog , but I’ve missed it! I was on a spending ban for the past few months , trying to use up whatever makeup I had , and only buying the necessities. I caved in today ( just a little) and bought some beauty items. I thought it would be a good idea to share them on the blog since I haven’t done a post like this in a good while.

The first thing I picked up with the Collection Lasting perfection concealer I adore this product! I have used this product for the past 4/5 months and this is around my 5th or 6th tube of it. It’s amazing! and for the price its great , the quality is also great. I love highlighting and also concealing with this because its so light . I use the shade 1.Fair so its lighter than my foundation and it can also be used as a highlighter.

The second thing I purchased was The Wet n WIld Walking on Eggshells palette. It will come as no surprise to you that this has been going around the beauty world for the past year or so because its amazing. and it is!!! I recently purchased the Comfort Zone palette and loved it! You can read my review on it HERE. I picked this up because I love how simplistic yet gorgeous the shades were.

I picked up the Wet n Wild megaprotein mascara I was in dire need to pick up a new mascara so I decided on this one , I have never used any of their mascaras so I would love to hear your thoughts if you have tried it down below!

I also picked up the Ps. Love Setting Spray this is Penneys ( primark to people in the Uk) own brand , I’m trying to use different products these days and steer away from my Nyx dewy setting spray since it is 10 euro and the bottle isn’t that big. This spray was only 2.50 and its twice the size of the Nyx! I’m hoping this will work wonders!

Lastly I picked up the Garnier Moisture Matte moisturizer I got the combination moisturizer because I tend to get oily and dry in places so I’m hoping this will sort that out for me. I haven’t tried this yet , so again if you have tried out this product let me know what you think below!

Thanks so much for reading guys , if you have any questions feel free to ask below. If you have tried any of these products let me know what you think of them below in the comments also and I’ll get back to you!

ShopMissA Haul & Experience

shopmissa

Hi Everyone!

I recieved my ShopMissA delivery yesterday and decided to do a little post and show you all what I go , I got a few accessories and things but I thought I would stick to the makeup for today. I also want to tell you about my experience with them as a company.

I’ll start with my experience, the wesbite is pretty much easy to manage and easy to get around , apart when it comes to the shade/colour picking of each product , I remember clicking on a lipstick and a certain colour that I wanted, but when I had ordered it , it had changed and I got a crappy lime green lipstick instead? I emailed them 3 minutes later asking them would they mind changing the order , but I got an email back saying that their company actually doesn’t have any connections with the warehouse that makes up the deliveries?? WHAT??!??!!? I didn’t really care too much since it was only 1 dollar , but the fact they weren’t helpful really annoyed me and sort of swept it under the mat and ignored me then was a little rude of them.

Okay! Onto the haul! I picked up quite a few lipsticks because I wanted to step out of my comfort zone a little and mix it up I didn’t include the crappy lime lipstick in this because I literally felt sick looking at it , its a disgusting colour and shall probably be going in the bin haha I would never even think of passing on such a rotten colour!

shopmissahaul

I got two Elf Lipsticks In Posh and Classy, I swatched this the minute I got them , and I’m impressed so far with their formulation and pigmentation! big thumbs up from me!

I then got 2 LA Colour lipsticks, I got Red Tango and Nude , I like these colours , they aren’t very pigmented and are quite glossy something I wouldn’t of necessarily went for , but for a dollar you can’t go wrong and its always something I can venture back to and mix up with another lippie.

I also purchased an Elf eyebrow kit because I’ve heard this raved about on youtube and wanted to give it a go myself , I swatched the wax and the powder and I love it already , I got the shade in Light because any other shades I get end up far too dark for me , and this one is a perfect match.

The blush I got was from the brand Prism, a brand I have never ever heard of but the colour of the blush caught my eye , I really love it , it is quite subtle but I can build it up quite a bit , the only thing I hate is the packaging its so cheap and flimsy I feel it will break the minute I try to openning it.

The last thing I bought was a Elf eyeshadow quad I got the shade Butternut , The colours in this are sooo pretty and really compliment green eyes , I’m all into warm tones so when I seen this I had to have it!

As I said before these were all 1 dollar, If you see a product you would like reviewed or swatched don’t hesitate to leave me a comment below and I’ll get right to it.

Hope you enjoyed my little post guys , If I’m completely honest I don’t know if I would order from ShopMissA again , I’m being  honest and saying that I really was only blown away by some of these products and they were mostly the elf ones , It cost me a total of 18.00 including delivery, This was just my opinion , maybe you had a better experience but I just wanted to share my thoughts

Have you ordered from ShopMissA? what are your thoughts? I would love to hear from you all , drop me a comment down below.

Mini drugstore Haul ♡

haul

Hi all!

So today I thought I would do another mini haul I really loved doing the first one so decided to show you what I got before I slaved away at work today! I also got a few clothing items but thought I would stick to the beauty for the time being.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water: 4.50, I picked this up in Penneys ( Primark for anyone living in the UK) I heard so many great reviews on this product and how its a dupe for  bioderma. I thought I would give it a try since it was so cheap. If you would like a review on this in the future let me know!

Bourjois Java Rice Powder: 12.99 If you’ve been reading a few of my previous posts you can already tell how obsessed I am with Bourjois! I’m just in love with this brand. For their 150th Anniversary they brought out the Java Rice powder that had been one of the products that actually made their name go viral! I wanted to pick this up for the past few weeks but they never had any in stock in boots and today I finally got my hands on one! I am soooo excited to try this out! It’s quite shimmery so it makes for the perfect highlighter!

Seventeen Stay Time Concealer: 4.41 I really needed a light concealer to do highlighting. As I had just run out of my Nyx HD concealer , I decided to try something a little different this time and opted for this one. I picked up fair which is the perfect colour for me to highlight with. I can’t wait  to compare this to my Nyx concealer because I’ve been using the Nyx concealer for the longest time ever and it’s done such a great job. As for price there’s really no difference so its a win/win situation!

Thanks so much for reading guys I just wanted to a short enough post today and thought this would be a good idea.  If you’ve tried any of these products I would love to know what you think of them. drop me a comment!

You can keep up to date with me on my instagram and twitter!

Mini Drugstore Haul: April 2015 ♡

Hi Everyone! So for my first proper post I wanted to do something interesting something that most people like! So I thought why not do a mini drugstore haul? Haul posts are what I’m immediately drawn to and find most interesting. I decided to go to Boots today before work and treat myself a little because I knew I had a good few points saved up on my advantage card so I thought why not?  So this is what I got : Bourjois healthy mix foundation: €11.99 , I absolutely love this foundation I can’t even count how many bottles of this stuff I’ve gone through it just gives you such a flawless base to work with , this foundation is one of the best drugstore foundations I’ve bought in my life time and completely photo friendly it contains NO SPF so you don’t get any of that annoying white flash back in photos! Bourjois Delice de Poudre: €9.00, I’ve never tried this product but always wanted to , but I always forgot and ended up buying a completely different bronzer and then cursing myself for not picking it up! I thought I would try this out before I tried out the bronzer and Highlighter duo. Boots were having a 3 for 2 offer on bourjois so I got this one free as it was the cheapest. The smell of the bronzer is FANTASTIC! I could just eat it up in one go it’s amazing , even if you don’t buy it , at least smell it! Bourjois Volume Glamour Mascara: €9.18  , I was in need of a new mascara as my soap and glory one was on its last legs , so I decided to give this one a go and see what it’s like , the brush isn’t plastic , which I like , I hate the feel of hard plastic near my eyes as my eyes are very sensitive and I tear up easily ( I’m a mess when I put my contacts in 😦 You would swear I had just seen a Nicholas Sparks movie) Sleek Bare Skin Foundation: €10.00 , I’ve used this foundation before and loved the  light coverage it had to offer , coming up the warmer climate  I hate wearing a full face of foundation and something light makes me feel like I’m not drowning in the middle of the day. It has light to medium coverage so you can build it up if wish. Collection Eyes Uncovered Palette: €4.99 , I picked this up with the points I had on my boots advantage card and decided to give it a whirl! I heard a lot of people say its a dupe for the Naked basics palette, I’m a sucker for a neutral eye and bold lips and this just called for me! I’m extremely excited to use it , and if you want incorporate it into tutorials So , That was my first haul guys  I know it was small but I didn’t want to overwhelm myself for my first post , If you have other suggestions on what I should blog about next feel free to drop me a comment. To keep up to date with me , you can Follow me on Instagram and Twitter. xoxo Rachael
